The Jackson County Board of County Commissioners on July 27 approved the low bid of $34,990.70 for a Clark GTS25 forklift to serve the Environmental Department. Darlene Selley, Environmental Superintendent, presented four bids and recommended the low bid; Commissioner Keith Kelly moved to approve the purchase and Commissioner Linda Gerhardt seconded. The motion passed 3–0.
