The Tift County Board of Commissioners approved Resolution No. 2026-18 (TC-ZA-26-08) on July 13, 2026, to rezone 2.96 acres at 85 Jacob Gibbs Road (Map 0019 Parcel 011) from AG (agriculture) to R-1 (single-family residential). Community Development Services Director Chad Branch presented the application from property owners Christopher and Joanne Mullis and County Attorney Anthony Rowell opened and closed the public hearing with no public comments.
