Board approves multiple initial licenses and several renewals

The Maine Board of Accountancy approved several initial licensing applications and acted on multiple renewal filings. The board approved initial licenses for Yae Jin Chae (CP11188), Minjee Kang (CP11540) and Kazuno Seal (CP9412) by 5-0 votes. The board also voted 5-0 to vacate a previous denial and approve A‑Reum Jung (CP10428).
On renewals, the Board cancelled an incomplete application for Prescient Assurance, LLC (FMF10001372) and approved the renewal for UHY, LLP (FMF10000919) and for Stephen T. Hopkins, CPA, PC (FM10000808). Motions on these items were moved by Yolanda “Lannie” Moffatt and seconded by Thomas Cyr; the recorded vote for these renewal decisions was 5-0. The minutes do not list additional conditions for the approved renewals.
