County signs $95,000 contract to convert GIS software

Hancock County approved a $95,000 contract with Woolpert Inc. to convert the county's GIS data to a new platform, citing imminent end of support for the old software.

The Board approved Resolution #184-26 on March 19 to enter into an agreement with Woolpert Inc. for GIS software conversion services for the Hancock County Engineer. Kyle Parker said the county is moving off an older platform that will soon be unsupported; the contract amount recorded in the minutes is $95,000. The motion passed 3-0 (mover William Bateson; seconder Timothy Bechtol).
