Wayne County records multiple personnel changes, accepts retirements, resignations and a hire
Summary

The Commissioners unanimously approved a series of personnel actions recorded in the minutes. Motions accepted an end date change for Casework Supervisor Thomas Kriton, the resignation of Aging Care Manager Elizabeth Goodman (effective July 24, 2026), and the retirement of Prothonotary Clerk Laura Connor (effective July 31, 2026). The board also accepted resignations from Transportation Van Driver George Rohde (effective July 10, 2026), Sergeant Chris Medico (effective July 23, 2026), and Social Service Aide Kerri Bacall (effective Aug. 20, 2026).
Separately, the board accepted the voluntary demotion of Shannon Guinnard from County Casework Supervisor in Wayne County Children and Youth to Aging Care Manager 3 in the Wayne County Area Agency on Aging effective Aug. 24, 2026, noting she remains a county employee. The Commissioners also approved hiring Brennan Cruz as a County Caseworker 1 (Intake) effective Aug. 10, 2026. All personnel motions were recorded as unanimous.
