Resident asks to rock Level B road; county engineer cites ordinance limiting surfacing
A resident requested that Mills County rock 610 feet of a Level B road near their property. County Engineer Jacob Ferro cited Mills County Ordinance Chapter 8.1.5(f) — "there will be no surfacing materials applied to Area Service Level B System roads" — and noted the county currently has 78 miles of Level B roads.

During public comment, resident Sherill Dashner asked the board to consider rocking 610 feet of a Level B road adjacent to their property. County Engineer Jacob Ferro presented several options for the board to consider but cautioned that Mills County Ordinance Chapter 8.1.5(f) restricts surfacing of Level B roads.
