Public input on allowing golf carts in Pierce produced a mix of support and opposition, and trustees voted July 13 to table the item while staff and the police department evaluate enforcement and safety implications. Trustee Geoffrey Broughton moved to table the item "until action can be taken on present safety concerns," the motion was seconded by C. Van Why and carried by a unanimous voice vote (all AYES).
