Chair recommended appointing four applicants to the Planning & Zoning Commission and moved to appoint three members to two-year terms with one appointee (and the vacant seat) assigned to one-year terms; the city attorney later advised that appointments must be made for full two-year terms under the current ordinance, and council amended the motion to appoint all four to two-year terms beginning 01/14/2026 and ending 01/13/2028.
