Commission selects Barge for sewer engineering, EMC for SEID work
The commission approved Barge Design as engineer for a sewer grant and EMC Engineering for the SCRC SEID 2025 grant after reviewing evaluation sheets that compared fees and experience; packet notes show EMC charges ~9% engineering and Moon Meeks charges 17% plus a $6,000 preliminary engineering report fee.

Commissioners voted unanimously to appoint Barge Design as the engineer for a county sewer grant and to employ EMC Engineering for the SCRC SEID 2025 application and engineering. Commissioner Timothy Biddle moved to approve Barge for the sewer grant and EMC for the SEID work; Commissioner Jason Frost seconded both motions and both passed unanimously.
