Elections officials roll over multiple grants, boosting election and cybersecurity funds
Steuben County Elections staff secured rollovers and new funding across five grants — Elections Cyber Security ($85,689.43 total), Ballot by Mail ($44,445.22 total), Absentee postage ($27,821.26 rollover), 2025 Election grant ($8,462.13 rollover), and Poll Site Improvements ($8,263.42 rollover) — all approved 5-0.

Elections official Mr. Housel asked the Finance Committee to extend and roll over several 2025–2026 election grants. The committee approved rolling $4,766.23 into the Elections Cyber Security Grant and accepting $80,923.20 in new funds, bringing that grant balance to $85,689.43. The motion passed 5-0.
