Commission extends some eligible lists and expires others in unanimous votes
The Cayuga County Civil Service Commission established new eligible lists, extended three existing lists and expired two others on June 9, 2026; motions were unanimous and staff were directed to notify appointing authorities.

On June 9 the Commission established several eligible lists (Principal Account Clerk; Principal Environmental Planner; Senior Account Clerk; Senior Custodian), each with a one-year duration. Chairman Bruce D. Sherman moved to establish the lists and Commissioner Ryan M. Foley seconded; the motion passed with all in favor.
