Eagle library reports record June circulation as summer programs draw visitors

The Eagle Public Library reported an unprecedented spike in use in June, with staff calling it "the busiest June ever, the busiest month ever." Staff attributed the surge to summer reading programming, increased availability of audiobooks and visitors traveling from across the valley to use library services.
Library staff also noted strong ancillary engagement tied to outreach items — T-shirt sales selling out before the Fourth of July — and said the uptick is expected to continue into July. "We went through about a 130 shirts," a staff member said, noting the strong public response to summer events.
