Committee members press for data on recidivism, behavioral health and substance-use links

Members of the CJCC pressed for data to explain what actually drives recidivism in Washington County and for measures the subcommittees can use to evaluate program effects. A member (S3) said programs such as the jail GE program appear to reduce returns, but the council needs data to determine which interventions are having an effect and why.
