Council approves city insurance renewal with 3% cost decrease
The City of Carlos approved a $29,815 insurance renewal covering property, casualty and workers' compensation with a $2,500 deductible and $1 million per-incident coverage; council voted unanimously to approve the renewal.

The City of Carlos approved its annual Property & Casualty and Workers’ Compensation insurance renewal at the July 9 council meeting. Clarke Comer presented the package, reporting "Overall, a 3% cost decrease" and an annual premium of $29,815 covering Property & Casualty ($24,249) and Workers’ Compensation ($5,566), with a $2,500 deductible and $1 million per-incident limit.
