Huron board approves pay increases for two clerks after executive session
Summary
After an executive session for personnel, the Town Board approved two pay-rate increases: Court Clerk Marsha Regan to $20.00/hr (not to exceed 20 hrs/week) with a four-month review, and Clerk Sally Woodard to $23.00/hr, both effective Feb. 10, 2025. The minutes also record an apparent timing/attendance inconsistency regarding the recorded adjournment time.

Following an executive session the board adopted two personnel resolutions. Resolution #19-2025 increased Court Clerk Marsha Regan’s pay to $20.00 per hour, not to exceed 20 hours per week, effective Feb. 10, 2025, with a four-month evaluation scheduled in June. Resolution #20-2025 increased Clerk Sally Woodard’s rate to $23.00 per hour effective Feb. 10, 2025. Both resolutions were recorded ADOPTED — AYES 4, NAYS 0.
The minutes record that Supervisor Fantuzzo moved the board into executive session at 5:40 p.m. and that the board came out of executive session at 5:57 p.m.; the same minutes later note that “Councilmember Cahoon moved…to adjourn at 5:25 pm.” The attendance section earlier notes Councilmember Bob Cahoon was absent, creating an internal inconsistency in the minutes about who moved to adjourn and the adjournment time. The article reports those facts as recorded in the minutes rather than reconciling them.
