Local transmission and solar projects reported moving forward; pumped-storage test set for August
Resource Concepts reported that SWIP North is under construction, Greenlink North may publish a supplemental EIS, and several local projects (including White Pine Solar and Pantheon) may proceed to NEPA. The White Pine Pumped Storage Project has a hydrogeologic test scheduled in August 2026.

Jeremy Drew briefed the committee on several regional and local energy projects. He said SWIP North is under construction; Greenlink North is expected to publish a supplemental environmental impact statement soon; CrossTie asked to present at next month’s meeting; and projects such as White Pine Solar, a gentie line to Robinson Substation, Pantheon, Samantha in Jakes Valley and Lonely Road could be moving forward to NEPA now that some legal holds have been cleared.
