Board approves several staff travel and training requests

Commissioners approved travel and registration for multiple staff: Jean Ann Hitchcock to attend the Eastern PA County Election Officials Conference in Lehigh Valley Aug. 11–14, 2025 (registration $385; lodging requested at $144/night for three nights); Mark Rhoads to attend the County Chief Adult Probation and Parole Officers Association conference in State College Sept. 22–24, 2025 (registration $350; lodging $159/night for three nights); and Coroner Norman Wimer to attend the PA State Coroner’s Association Conference Sept. 22–26, with registration listed at $850 and estimated hotel fees of $695. The minutes state 50% of the coroner expenses will be reimbursed by Act 154 Coroner’s training funds.
