City planning staff said several ongoing projects are nearing construction completion (final landscaping and finishing work) and identified two substantial proposed developments near Lighthouse Point. Staff mentioned an unconfirmed market report that one hotel site could be a Holiday Inn Express and said the city expects building-permit submissions soon.
