Dredging phases 1–2 complete; PO issued for phases 3–5, permit process may take nine months
Board heard a dredging update: phases 1 and 2 are finished, a PO to Kimley Horn Associates covers phases 3–5, a seagrass study was completed on schedule and staff said permitting will take about nine months with work hoped to begin toward the end of 2026.

The Lighthouse Point Marine Advisory Board received an update on the city’s dredging program on Nov. 6. The presenter said "phase 1 and 2 have been completed," and that "the PO was just recently issued to Kimley Horn Associates for phases 3 through 5." The presenter added the seagrass study required for permitting was completed within the required window.
