Staff presented the elder human services report and described challenges and adjustments tied to a new registration and reporting platform. "On average, we saw 564 people in July," the staff presenter said while explaining that the new system's graphs currently display only top programs; staff and IT are working with the vendor to restore more detailed reporting and downloadable data for analysis.
The presenter said the new system (RecTech/RegTech) is customizable but requires time to configure reports to the council's needs; some activities that did not require sign-in historically (for example, informal games) may not appear in the new enrollment visuals. Staff also reported a staffing update: Janet has been promoted to a full-time case manager, a change the presenter described as strengthening case-management capacity.
Council members requested a regular pull of raw numbers so the COA can track monthly trends and itemize spending and participation for the trust-fund and budget discussions. Staff said they will continue Zoom training sessions with the vendor and provide a monthly extract for the COA until the reporting view is finalized.
