Library reports rising checkouts and expands digital access via Texas State Library eRead
Staff said circulation and visitor counts are increasing across print and digital formats, and the branch recently joined the Texas State Library 'eRead' (cloud library) to expand e-book and audiobook access; staff explained publisher licensing limits that affect wait times and pricing.

CJ Crawford, director-level library staff, told the board that overall circulation is up across physical and digital categories and that the library is issuing more accounts this year. "I mean, the numbers are up across all of it," Crawford said, noting gains in February and March that staff attributed to expanded programming and spring-break activities.
