Trustee Nancy Belt moved and Trustee Mike Neville seconded to send to the Village Board for second and final reading "An Ordinance Amending the Code of Ordinances for the Village of Cherry Valley, Illinois Chapter 70, Traffic and Vehicles, Article III, Parking, Stopping and Standing" addressing parking of nonmotorized vehicles, licensed trailers, boats and outside parking of commercial vehicles in residential districts. The motion carried by voice vote (All AYE, none opposed).
The ordinance text was read into the record as part of the Committee’s new-business packet; no public comment or substantive debate followed. Trustee Belt, who chaired the ordinance item, made clear the recommendation at this meeting was to forward the proposed language to the Village Board for formal consideration and a final vote at a future board meeting.
