The Milam County Commissioners Court recommended using the remainder of the county's GLO grant (20-065-111-C308) to expand the scope of Bell Street improvements rather than returning the unspent funds immediately. Judge Bill Whitmire moved for 'Option 2' — performing the Bell Street work with upgraded materials and then deobligating the remaining funds — a motion seconded by Commissioner Wesley Payne and carried unanimously.
