The Board of Fire and Police Commissioners unanimously appointed Maria L. Holley and Patrick J. McGinty to the positions of Probationary Firefighter/Paramedic following an executive session on April 1, 2026. Commissioner Klausner moved to appoint Holley, seconded by Commissioner Vitiritti; Commissioner Barajas moved to appoint McGinty, seconded by Commissioner Klausner. Both motions carried by unanimous voice vote.
Village Administration had authorized the Commission to appoint up to two firefighter candidates and the board reviewed candidates' files in executive session before returning to open session at 7:15 p.m. The appointments were recorded in the meeting minutes and the meeting adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
