The Marion City Council approved a resolution Jan. 6 to contract with Vallance for city security cameras following a presentation from a company representative. "Eric Trammell spoke for Vallance and said their agreement included 5-year pricing, customer service, and annual inspections," the meeting minutes record. Council Member Karen Mills moved to approve the resolution; Council Member Jerry Penshorn seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
