The Marlin City Council voted Oct. 15 to enter an interlocal agreement with the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) to participate in DIR's Shared Services Program. Scott Schmidt, listed in the minutes as future IT director, described the services the program would supply and council approved the resolution unanimously.
