The Lockney City Council authorized the City to advertise for engineering services to support SEARCH grant funding efforts and to continue the USDA water-grant process. Councilman Dart Carthel moved to solicit a new engineer; Donnie McLaughlin seconded the motion and the council added a requirement for additional merit qualifications in the solicitation. The motion passed unanimously.
