Project manager reports steady progress on EMS Station 1; Xcel requires gas‑meter slab
Jeff Hickam reported that EMS Station 1 has completed footings and foundation work, concrete pours continue and steel framing is imminent; Xcel Energy now requires a 10x10 concrete pad for a heavy gas meter, and Hickam will bring a change order for that work.

County project manager Jeff Hickam updated commissioners on EMS Station 1 construction: footings and foundation walls have been poured, underground plumbing and electrical work is in place, radiant-heat tubing is being installed and a major concrete pour (roughly 200 yards) is scheduled. Big Valley is providing monthly drone footage for progress monitoring.
