The commission held a public hearing and approved a variance request from Gustavo Carrillo of ACP Development to allow a side setback variance on property identified as Parcel T20 137 on Washington Street. City Attorney Jay Doss opened the hearing and City Manager Fredda O. Wheeler advised that the Toccoa Planning Commission had unanimously recommended approval. Vice‑Mayor Michelle Jamieson moved to approve and waive a second reading; Commissioner Ron Matheson seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
