Chairman Bo Fox and Supervisor Vincent Phillips voted to approve hiring three part‑time deputies for the Monona County Sheriff’s Office. "Motion was made by Supervisor Fox, seconded by Supervisor Phillips, to approve hiring part‑time deputies Darin Specketer, Kyle Tank, and Lane Vennick," the minutes state. The hires were authorized at a rate of $34.93 per hour under the Sheriff’s memorandum of understanding.
