Two public commenters used the three-minute public-comment period to raise local resource requests. Bill Norton, speaking for the Calvert Historical Foundation, requested use of the city shuttle bus to conduct tours of the historic district. Laura Chesner, representing Central Texas Star News, asked the council to consider leasing a small portion of unused city office space for news operations.
