Town board hears 2026 insurance renewal; slight premium decrease after lower umbrella limit

Kayla Wagner of the Sprague Agency presented the proposed 2026 insurance policy and told the Town Board that the town's premium would decrease slightly after lowering the umbrella limit by $4 million. "if an employee uses their personal vehicle on town business, their personal policy would kick in first, then the town policy if needed," Wagner said.

Supervisor Michael Volino confirmed receipt of the renewal and noted NYMIR had notified the town that it met conditions for renewal. The board did not take further action at the meeting beyond the presentation; department heads were given the opportunity to ask follow-up questions, and the policy will proceed through the usual administrative processing for renewal.
