During new business the chair said she does not have time to continue in the role and requested to step down. Board members discussed governance training timing and then followed protocol for chair succession and nominations. A board member (S6) nominated Bailey for chair and asked for a second; after discussion the board called the vote and the chair announced the motion passed, installing the member with the surname Bailey as the new chair.
