Meriwether County commissioners awarded the 2026 LMIG Phase II contract for Alvaton Road to C.W. Matthews on July 13. County Administrator John Gorton reported bids ranged from $899,726.00 (C.W. Matthews) to $1,062,262.50 (McLeroy, Inc.), and engineering recommended awarding to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, C.W. Matthews.
