Minong approves TextMyGov agreement after negotiation on term and fees
The board approved a TextMyGov municipal texting agreement with negotiated terms: a $500 setup fee (reduced from $1,000), 3½ years of service purchased for the price of three years, a 2.5% annual price cap starting 2030, and a draft payment schedule the board set as a condition of approval.

Town board members said they negotiated more favorable terms for the TextMyGov contract before approving it at the June 8 meeting. Susan Conaway and Joe Radzak reported the vendor agreed to 3½ years for the price of three years and to reduce the setup fee from $1,000 to $500. The minutes record an all-in amount of $2,000 per year for three years plus the $500 setup fee.
