The county administrator said staff will begin internal discussions with the planning director and assistant about next steps for the comprehensive plan, with the goal of presenting options for commissioner feedback in late 2026 and beginning a rewrite or targeted updates in 2027. The administrator said this could range from targeted revisions to a complete rewrite and that staff want to align internally before asking for policy direction from commissioners.
