At the March 16 meeting's public comment period, citizen Marilynn Mitchell asked about audits that had been or would be performed. Council member Carrie Kirkland responded that audits were in process. Kathleen West thanked the water department for recent work. Grace Ann Martin asked about the city's attorney and whether the lawyer is local; council members said the city was looking into a municipal-law practice based in San Antonio with a specialized team.
