Kit Kollmeyer, a town business owner and member of the Twisp Creative District Board, was appointed Interim President at the board’s Aug. 28, 2025 meeting. The motion, recorded as "Motion: Appoint Kit Kollmeyer as Interim President," was moved by Tim McGuire, seconded by Sarah Jo Lightner and approved unanimously.
The board noted that Sarah Brown resigned from her arts organization seat and agreed to advertise the vacancy immediately. Members also agreed it is best practice to request short written resignations for transparency and to review staggering of board terms in a future governance discussion; Kit Kollmeyer’s two-year term, and Mindy Irvine’s term, conclude at the end of 2025.
