Information Systems seeks software subscriptions to support countywide cloud migration

The county’s Information Systems director said network replacement and a Tyler Odyssey cloud migration are complete; the department requests increased software-subscription funding (about $500,000) but no new staff for FY2027. Staff flagged ADA website work and forensic/justice systems as major new costs.

Russell, the county information-systems presenter, told the court the department finished a multiyear overhaul and switched Tyler Odyssey to a cloud subscription model. “We completed the entire replacement of the county's network,” he said, noting more than 200 switches and roughly 11,000 service tickets handled year-to-date.
