The Jerseyville City Council approved an ordinance amending Title 5, Chapter 2 of the city code (Health, Sanitation and Environment) to reflect recent changes at the dump site and to update provisions governing solid waste. City Attorney William Strang told the council that the changes include a definition of recyclable material, shared use provisions with the county, and updates to truck licensing and associated fees.
