Committee approves junk dealer/secondhand license for Paulo Dumont
The Marlborough Public Services Committee voted 3–0 on Aug. 10, 2026, to approve order 26-109780, an application for a junk dealer/secondhand license for applicant Paulo Dumont (d/b/a Amagold/Amigold) at 257 Semirano Drive; the committee will report the approval to the full council.

The Marlborough Public Services Committee voted 3–0 on Aug. 10 to approve order 26-109780, granting a junk dealer/secondhand license application submitted by Paulo Dumont for premises at 257 Semirano Drive. Chair read a letter from Police Chief David Giorgi saying he completed background checks and "do[es] not have any objections to either individual's application for their respective licenses." The committee then took Dumont's application up first because he was present.
