Commissioners flagged that segment 5's current design does not include the continuous riverwalk shown in earlier plans and asked how the design would address that gap. Commissioner Ross cited the Passaro plan and said residents were told a riverwalk would span the resiliency wall. Kimley‑Horn said they had not proposed to extend the resiliency system into private parcels without owner permission and offered to investigate when the riverwalk element was removed from segment 5's drawings.
