During the visitors portion, a resident who identified themselves as Dawson thanked council members for considering a pause and said ‘‘we are attempting to put a moratorium on the data centers for 6 months’’ to buy time for zoning changes. The comment was presented as support for a temporary pause while the village refines zoning and development rules.
