Slaton ISD Chief Financial Officer Art Martin reviewed procurement options for the new elementary school, describing Competitive Sealed Proposal (CSP) and Construction Manager At-Risk (CMAR) methods and recommending CMAR as the best way to build a high-quality facility at fair cost. The Board voted to accept administration’s recommendation and approved CMAR unanimously (6–0).
