Commission approves land purchase, site certificate and engineering amendment for Lift Station No. 1 relocation

The board approved a package of actions tied to the Lift Station No. 1 relocation project: acquisition of property at 1143 South Tower Road, a site certificate for the new location, and a contract amendment with Lafever Engineering. The mayor called for a motion to approve the property purchase and the motion carried after votes in favor. Staff said the parcel is approximately 0.41 acres and that a title commitment with Valley Land Title is in place while a survey remains pending.
