Butler County issues RFP for security cameras at Facilities Management maintenance shop

The Butler County Commission approved issuing a request for proposal to purchase and install security cameras at the Facilities Management Maintenance Shop. Facilities Management Director Travis Cornell said four cameras would be placed in work areas, entrances, exits and equipment storage locations, avoiding break rooms and other private spaces to respect employee privacy. Curtis Mader, Public Works director, estimated total costs around $6,000–$8,000 and said the expense would be wrapped into the county's current capital improvement program.
