ZBA approves 12 kW solar array at 6208 Bay Shore Road
The Town of Huron Zoning Board of Appeals unanimously approved a variance to install a 12 kW minor solar system 6 feet from the property line at 6208 Bay Shore Road, with the applicant stating the proposed location is the only spot that receives full sun; the board recorded a 5–0 vote.

The Zoning Board of Appeals voted unanimously to grant an area variance allowing a 12 kW minor solar system to be installed 6 feet from the property line at 6208 Bay Shore Road. The board first made the SEQRA Type II determination on the application; Gordon Smith moved the classification and the board approved that procedural motion 5–0.
