Board advances multiple policy updates for first and second readings
Board members advanced a slate of first‑read policies on extracurriculars, athletics and student activities and recorded second reads on governance, acceptable use and safety policies. Items were placed on the policy review track for subsequent action.

During its April 7 meeting the board advanced several policy items through first and second readings. First reads presented by the Policy Review Committee included Policy 7410 (Extracurricular Activities), 7411 (School Sponsored Student Publications and Activities), 7415 (Extracurricular Policy — Grades 9–12), 7420 (Sports and Athletic Program), 7430 (Contests for Students, Student Awards and Scholarships), 7450 (Fund Raising by Students) and 7470 (School Photographs).
