At the Feb. 24 commission meeting, Dave Nelson of Warren County said the county's septic replacement program received a $400,000 award in 2024 and that the program resulted in 16 failing systems being repaired or replaced in 2025. "We had... award 400,000 in 2024. That resulted in 16, valid systems, either replaced or repaired in 2025," Nelson said in his presentation.
