During the May 12 meeting Todd Layton introduced a salary resolution for county elected officials, saying the elected officials' salaries had not been increased accordingly in the past. Johnny Knueppel spoke in support, saying the increases "were well deserved." The board approved the salary resolution on a motion by Layton seconded by Brandenburg.
